This is the schedule for Bounty's 2011 Christmas Day Dinner.
Saturday, December 3, 8:00 am until 4:00 pm - Volunteer signup
Held at the Immaculata school gymnasium, signup sheets will be available to sign up to help snap beans, peel potatoes, dice oranges, chop spices, carve turkeys, de-bone hams, decorate the gym, wrap toys, deliver meals, serve in the dining room, cleanup after the dinner, and so much more. The Bounty Christmas Dinner is completely prepared by volunteers who donate their time before, on, and after Christmas Day. Please come out on this day and sign up to participate in this kind, giving gift to the people of Henderson County.
Note: This is the same day as the Hendersonville Christmas Parade, so keep in mind that the normal traffic flow through downtown will be disrupted because of the parade. Do plan an alternate route to come to Immaculata School for the volunteer signup.
Saturday, December 17, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm - Turkey/Ham drop-off
Please deliver frozen turkeys (16 pounds or larger), "bone-in" smoked hams, and/or beef brisket to the Immaculata School kitchen. New, unwrapped toys, Christmas wrapping paper, ribbon, tape and batteries (AA, C, D & 9V) may also be dropped off. Volunteers will be available to receive them.
Wednesday, December 21 thru Christmas Eve. - Toys
Preparations will also begin in the kitchen and dining room for the Christmas Dinner. This will include cleaning the kitchen and decorating the dining room.
Sunday, December 25 - Christmas Dinner!
Come to Immaculata School at 711 N. Buncombe St. in Hendersonville. The dining room will be open from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Merry Christmas from Bounty Of Bethlehem to the residents of Henderson County. Come, enjoy the fine feast we have prepared for you.
